“Greenleaf and colleagues (Samuel 2001) of the Mayo Foundation found that ultrasound produces secondary, audible sounds when passed through the mother’s skin. When the probe was aimed at the intrauterine hydrophone, it measured 100 decibels, “as loud as a subway train coming into a station.” Etzel and associates (1997) found studies suggesting that exposure to excessive noise during pregnancy could result in hearing impairment, prematurity, and IUGR [intrauterine growth restriction/retardation].”

Jeanice is an author, educator, researcher, and activist dedicated to exposing the dark side of the medical system.
